Order members present: Alice, Sirius, Severus, Bill, Remus.
Dogstar members present: Ridley, Rachel, two masked bodyguards whose names we were not told.
Strangeweale/Mysteries Plans
Everyone agreed we should move forward on this as quickly as possible -- which is to say, TODAY.
The Order will infiltrate Mysteries, polyjuiced as Strangweale and a potential victim. (I think Alice has decided on Kingsley and Severus.) Please note that Mysteries takes a variety of precautions against polyjuice, but our interrogation of Strangeweale revealed at least the precautions he was aware of. Severus, Sirius, and Rachel Brodie were fairly certain he was not holding information back.
Strangeweale also revealed he'd given a report to Cadmus Mulciber; Dogstar will handle that retrieval. He also gave us the names of four people who acted as research assistants or otherwise had detailed information about his process. Dogstar will also handle the elimination of those individuals.
The Order will raid Strangeweale's breeding farm and rescue the people there and with the assistance of Timothy (Strangeweale's muggleborn servant, now free from compulsion magics) will clear out and destroy his house. We'll also work on persuading the goblins not to let anyone into his vault.
Ridley requested polyjuice for her people, to get them into Mulciber's house undetected and to get close to their other targets. Alice agreed.
The Neo-Fidelius
Ridley requested that these negotiations be closed to everyone but her and the leader of the Order. She started out the meeting believing that this was Sirius, and we all did our best to play along, but at this point she made it clear we'd given Alice away. So the rest of us cleared out and left Alice to talk with her. Bill apparated away to fetch some polyjuice and the rest of us sat around awkwardly for a while. So this next bit is based on what Alice told me happened, I wasn't there to take notes.
Alice told Ridley about the costs and precise effect of the neofidelius and said that if Dogstar wants to run a joint operation, they can provide a target and a volunteer and the Order will help that person cast it, and then obliviate them. (If they survive. No guarantees.)
Ridley revealed that they have a way to get portkeys. In exchange for the actual casting instructions for the neo-fidelius, she offered a dozen unregistered portkeys to whatever destinations (within the Protectorate) we'd like. We can think this over. In the meantime, she'll ponder possible targets and people who might be willing to cast the spell.
Bill, it sounds as though Ridley cleared the room in part because she doesn't want Rachel knowing that they have someone in the portkey office. I would assume this is because she thinks Rachel's in a high-risk position, and too likely to get caught.
Rachel's Role
(Everyone got to come back in for this bit. I kept looking at Miss Brodie's face while she was being discussed but she's rather unreadable.)
Ridley said that she was willing to have Rachel share the MLE intel with the Order on a routine basis, and Rachel could officially be a liaison between our two groups.
If we'd actually like her as a member, Ridley offered to trade Rachel for an ongoing supply of polyjuice. (She would still want Rachel to share her MLE intel with Dogstar.)
Alice noted we're down a potioneer (she refrained from pointing out that this was due to Rachel) and polyjuice is not exactly a plentiful resource for us, either. She offered fluxweed, instead.
Ridley said that in exchange for two fluxweed plants and a strip of boomslang skin, she will cede Rachel BUT not until the plants successfully propagate. (She would prefer actual potion.)
I think that covers most of it.

And good luck, all of you, I guess.

And I'm wearing my half of the charm. So you'll know if anything dire happens.
I'm going along to help side-along people to safety. Loads of us are going to help, I think, so it should go quickly. I hope.
Hope things are alright there at your dad's. Let me know if you need me to come because I will. Straight away. No matter what.
Private message to Ron
gotwent to sleep early.I feel a bit useless. But, I suppose so do the people at the gala, and they couldn't very well skip out without it being noticed.

Regarding Ms Brodie, do we have any compelling interest in making her fully a member of the Order? Ridley is quite right about the risks of her position and the odds of her being discovered one day. It seems to me a very poor idea to put Ms Brodie in a position to bring down not one but two significant resistance organisations. We already stand to lose Bill and expose several other key pieces of our operations. I see little to be gained for our side in making her privy to more of our secrets--and there is potential gain in allowing Ridley to 'keep' her if she's willing to serve as our connection with Dogstar. Better yet if Bill can cultivate her as a spy for us in Ridley's camp.

I think we can continue to work with her on a regular basis and in those meetings, we can give her certain details on the backgrounds of our people so that if and when she's allowed to join, she won't find our way of doing things such a shock.
Ridley has to realise Ms Brodie will certainly begin passing information to us about DogStar, just as much as she will be expected to tell them about us. It can't hurt to keep her at arm's length for a while yet.

I say, several of us are involved in the St Mungo's gala, what (in point of fact, some of us are already here, decorating), but is there anything we might do to help? Perhaps make certain that the key Ministry staff are sufficiently diverted at the party?

Since Harry's at the luncheon I wanted to come to Grimmauld to start a new batch of polyjuice, if that's all right. Sounds like we'll need more.

Remember it's fancy dress, so easier to slip in and out for either side. I know what Dolohov will look like but not Crouch or others.

Private Message to Alice
It might be advantageous to get him to leave there with one or two of ours. Think Cedric can manage without drawing attention to himself?

(It would be rather one thing to bargain for her if her inclinations are more like ours than Dogstar's, and quite another to force her choice for her.)
As to the actual practical question: the fluxweed at Hogwarts is doing well, and last I heard from Regina, the crop at Moddey Dhoo was solidly re-established from the starters a year or so ago. Not that we don't need to continue being cautious, but I think we can readily enough spare two plants, if someone would figure out how to get them to Ridley. I'd rather prefer she not know we've got people at Hogwarts in any more detail than absolutely necessary.

She told me that given the choice, she would prefer to be with the Order.
