Do you read the juniors' threads? The ones where they say 'no adults allowed'?
Hydra didn't actually SAY 'don't read,' she just said, 'keep your quills to yourselves while we sort this out.' So I'm staying out, but I'm reading. Apparently the Death Eaters are recruiting new members; Draco and Hydra both received invitations to 'compete' for the 'honour.'
But I don't think they were the only ones. Of ours, I mean.

Some of them were given rather more specifics than others were. I guess fairness isn't exactly a cornerstone of this competition.

Only in this case I had to put my journal away because I kept grabbing my quill.
Luckily Bea was having a good day (increasingly rare, you know) and she took my mind off things for a while.
We said we wanted to encourage in-fighting among the Death Eaters. It's inevitable that Voldemort would want to replace the members he's killed, or who have been killed for him, and besides, making the younger members become mentors to yet another generation is the best way I've heard yet of creating insecurity in the old guard.
Maybe this is all an elabourate hoax he's devised to get Mulciber, Malfoy and the others back in line. And at the end he'll say 'April Fool!' and not add anyone.
