Contemplating how Kreacher's head would look on the wall.
I'm so sorry you were embarrassed like that. We should have just told them somehow. I just wanted Remus to feel comfortable and it really isn't anyone's business but ours. Yours and his and mine, that is.
And the little blighter would wait until I'd left the room for a second, so I couldn't shut him up right away.
I hope it doesn't mean we've scandalised half the Order into never coming back, though.
I've been private messaging her a bit since we all left and I went back to my flat.
She's been rocked a bit by your revelation, but don't let that spook you. She's raised seven kids which means she's used to shocks by now. She'll come around.
You might think, but you know your mum's quite traditional about some things.
Marriage and kids, for example.
I wish Remus'd figured things out before he up and married Dora but then we wouldn't have Bea, either. And that would have been a great misfortune.
Still, I know it puts Dora in a bad position, unless she can find someone who doesn't mind the arrangement, or we can come up with a good reason for the Ponds to split amicably. But that day's a ways off, so, meanwhile ... we're finding a way to make things work.
Dunno why I thought I had to tell you that. Maybe you're standing in for your mum.
So...Dora is on board with the arrangement? That is a relief then. I mean--well, bloody hell, I don't know what I mean. Except that I like all three of you. Well, all four of you, if you include Bea. And I hope that you keep the hurt for everybody to a bare minimum.
Dora is the one who put it all together, Bill. Without her we'd still be - I dunno, I'd still be living with the belief that Remus only liked women and he'd still be trying his best to make her happy and failing miserably at it. And poor Dora would still be trying to figure out why they were both so ill-at-ease.
It's not been easy. But yes, we're trying to keep things as equal as possible.
I mean to say, Bill. I'm capable of some berkish things but I'd never have come between them. Not like that.

Remus, dear, thank you so much for inviting all of us. Do let me know if I can be of more help to you
and Doraand Sirioh
well, to any of you, if you want to tackle more of that cleaning.
(Whatever that malevolent elf will let you do.)

Private Message to Dora and Remus
Re: Private Message to Dora and Remus
My ears are a bit pink still, but otherwise not terrible.
What about you, then?

Bea all settled down, finally?

BuggerBother, I'd meant to ask Kingsley to have a look at that thing while he was over. Naturally after the excitement I forgot.Re: Private Message to Dora and Remus
I'll see if I can pry it from her long enough to give it a once-over in the morning.

You're RJ Lupin, or have your eyes gone now, too?

And there's certainly enough work to be done but please don't feel we're pressing you into service. You've your own projects, as well.

For all of it.
Private Message to Bill
I could murder that wretched elf. Of all the ways for you all to hear about our ... shift, I suppose I'd call it.
Is your Mum all right? She just looked utterly flummoxed when I came back in.

And anytime any of you want to slip away for a bit to share a friendly pint and talk, just send a patronus.
